Raw materials and characteristics

High-quality base material: Wood-based activated carbon is usually made from high-quality fuelwood, wood chips, wood briquettes, coconut shells and fruit shells. These materials have a natural cellulose and porous structure, which provides a good basis for manufacturing activated carbon with high adsorption performance.

Developed microporous structure: Wooden activated carbon has a highly developed microporous structure, which gives it a large specific surface area, thus providing a large number of adsorption sites to effectively capture and adsorb a variety of organic substances and pollutants.

Applications

Water treatment field: wood-based activated carbon can be used in water treatment to remove harmful chemicals and odours in water, such as chlorine and organic pollutants, which is one of the key materials to ensure the safety of water quality.

Gas purification field: It is used in industrial emissions and indoor air purification to effectively remove harmful gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and improve air quality.

Food and beverage industry: used in food processing and beverage production, mainly for decolourisation and removal of unwanted tastes and odours to ensure product quality and taste.

The production base of Hong Kong Xinyue Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. is located in Datong City, Shanxi Province, China. With over 30 years of production experience, we are one of the largest coal producers in Shanxi Province. We use selected high quality Paul's weakly sticky coal raw materials from Datong, Shanxi Province. The company has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of coal-based activated carbon and wood-based activated carbon.
